Design thinking workshop
The more technology advances, the more pathways to approach marketing and selling to the customer. To get more profit out of the business. The product or service based on the needs and behavior of the customer starts to be a trend that provides a positive customer experience to drive repeat business, customer loyalty and profits.
In order to get into the mindset of the customer, enhance the design thinking, the creative team held a design workshop internally to train ourselves to boost our thinking into different variations. A design workshop to use/practice the design sprint method to create a new product or service for the company.
Hi everyone, this is Rita from the creative department in FiNC.
At the beginning of the design workshop, we started listing problems that we might encounter in the future and the good/bad outcome of our new product or service. Asked the experts for advice to highlight gaps or shortcomings from our problems listed. Then mapped a customer journey/steps to imagine how the changes in customer behavior to reach our goal. After that, brainstorming to find the key points and observe unmet needs to look beyond the current obsession. By choosing the key points we realized from the new product/service, made a quick demonstration of our idea from sketching or wording to prototype the cycle experience of the customer. At last, got reviewed and feedback from the experts to see whether the solutions meet the needs and expectations of the customer or not.
Indeed, even though the design sprint method to the goal is not going to be 100% accurate every time, this kind of workshop practicing could help the designer to get insights into customer experience to create the great design – solutions. After all, to put the customer front is quite important in the design thinking. Therefore, except for a good sense of aesthetic design style, designers in the creative team, we comprehend the big picture, visualizes the process, integrate the needs of people and bring the great outcome possible.
